Welcome to Above the Door!

My grandparents inspired a lot in me. My grandmother, was the inspiration behind the name of my blog. The house she made a home was a gorgeous 2 story red brick with beautiful white columns in the front. She had an exquisite garden that I recall her spending a great deal of time in. It was therapy for her. But one thing I remember was a rustic old horseshoe that was once on one of my grandfathers horses that adorned the entry way above the door. I was always reminded that entering the house under the horseshoe brought good luck.
